halloween just got better

Well am counting the days until I go to New York, I am debating totally what shall I wear and my husband is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I have asked him if I look fat in more than 10 outfits this morning and he is now wearing headphones and just nodding when he thinks it is appropriate arghhhh. When you need a friend where are they? I am now drawing the first sketches for the autumn and winter collection 2010 how depressing is that? I do not even know where we will be this Christmas let alone next year. I hate winter I really do, I was in Oxford street this week with my mentor, bless him he really is patient but I am sure he looks forward to the clock ticking by to the time he can leave me, I have gone off on a tangent sorry, anyway I was looking in the windows of the major shops and what did i see? boots, coats and heavy cardigans!! what is going on, can someone tell these retailers it is August for gods sake. As a designer I would be thinking great to see us in a shop window in August with our winter collection but as a consumer it is really depressing. Anyway just to make you all feel better check out a peek at the spring and summer collection for 2010 to make you feel all sunny again.

Thought for the day: I cannot pretend to feel impartial about colours. I rejoice with the brilliant ones and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns. Winston Churchill
